Team vs Everton
|
Bilic has confirmed Sakho is out for Saturday.
Who would you go with? Valenica for me. Carroll back on the bench.
SB: "Sakho is out. It's nothing major, he felt something after training last week and he has a small tear in his thigh. He's out on Saturday but the prognosis is that he will be fit for the game after the international break.
Alex Song has been training with us since before the Watford game. He's been with us for one week and is injury free. Now it's a matter of match fitness. We have a friendly game on Wednesday and he will play in that.
Winston Reid is back and will be in the squad. It was nothing major for him, but now he's been training for a whole week."

But surely it's fluid and can.be changed in game. I also suppose he thinks Payet can supply Carroll better from.the wing

I still think the diamond formation would be better at home...
Don't think he will play it just hope he plays lanzini in a 4-2-3-1 not like last week in a 4-3-2-1... Also payet is wasted out wide

Zarate deserves a start. When he starts he scores.

According to Physioroom Obiang and Sakho should return for the Tottenham game. Song expected to return late November.

some reckon Valencia might be a slip of the tongue and he actually meant Song. There's a video floating around of 2 cracker free kicks from Enner in training on Thursday by the looks of it.

After Carroll's pitiful display last week, I'd be tempted to play Jelavic up front against his old club. What's up with Valencia now?

They don't seem to fancy Antonio for some reason.

Think he will definitely go with Airshot but I would give Zarate the nod, he has popped up with goals and makes things happen. My only issue would be can he hold it up if needed?

I watched the Toffees at Arsenal play attacking football with 10 men on the pitch...
no doubts Everton will come to play attacking football...
should be an open game ... Hope Slav has the answers .... and the players have the right attitude from the off.

I'm with you Mongo apart from Noble for Obiang. We need Carroll for several reason's. He plays better at home and will get more support further forward. Zarate still has a point to prove unlike Moses who know's he won't be here at the end of the year. Zarate has more tricks and will keep Everton's midfield occupied , Moses better suited to away games,Zarate visa versa. Carroll will be needed at set pieces at both ends of the pitch. Valencia can come on near the end to run them ragged. Antonio for Lanzini or Zarate, who ever is fading the most. Adrian Jenkinson Reid Tomkins Cresswell Kouyate Noble Lanzini Payet Zarate Carroll
subs: Randolph Oxford Antonio Ogbonna Obiang Valencia Jelavic
